Fundo el Embrujo is a business group with more than 90 years in the agro-industrial field. We have our own seed production process which allows us to supply the local and international market.
Products
Agricola Fundo el Embrujo supplies the Peruvian Market with specialty cereals such as quinoa, maca and amaranth, among others.
QUINOA
Our Peruvian Quinoa is a gluten-free, easy to digest grain, making it ideal for those with gluten intolerance. The fiber in quinoa is useful for cleaning the digestive tract and preventing complication of the cardiovascular system. Quinoa is also good for people with problems regarding blood sugar and for those who exercise regularly.

Due to the growing domestic and international demand for quinoa, we are strong believers that field production has to be handled with care and precision to ensure the best quality.
Today, Peruvian exporters are mainly third party companies who buy the product from small scale farmers in the Andes.
Current Production of Quinoa in Peru
• Quinoa is sown by hand in soil.
• The lack of proper irrigation systems creates the risk of losing the harvest without a moment’s notice.
• Quinoa farming is managed by small communities. They cannot guarantee stability in neither production,nor price.
• The quinoa they produce is not homogeneous; they use different seed. The nutritional values are not stable.
